Coronavirus Udate 13th March 2020
The latest advice from the Government is that we are not at this moment closing schools in England. There are currently no plans for school closures, however the situation is evolving and this advice may change. There may be recommendations for individual school closures if there are cases associated with a particular school or area. Please be assured that we will keep you updated on any developments.
If you, or your children, are experiencing symptoms of coronavirus, you should not attend school and stay home for at least seven days. Symptoms include:
- high temperature
- a continuous cough
Advice on washing hands remains the same. You should wash your hands for at least 20 seconds regularly throughout the day including:
- before eating
- after visiting the toilet
- after sneezing or coughing
- after using public transport
Regarding school trips and residential visits: we are advised that school trips and residential visits should go ahead as planned unless advised to do otherwise by Public Health England. So at the moment, all planned visits will go ahead. We receive daily updates from the DfE and from Haringey and we will keep you informed of any developments.
