School Information

Welcome to Belmont Junior School

Belmont Junior School is a community school which was opened in 1955; it is a spacious two-storey building surrounded by a hard surface playing area. The school caters for children between the ages of seven and eleven years. Children are taught in year group classes.

The site is shared with Belmont Infant School with whom close contact is maintained on all educational and administrative matters. Children must apply to be admitted to the Junior School in the September following their seventh birthday and it is our aim to make the transfer from Infant to Junior School as smooth as possible.

Other admissions are made upon application to Haringey Admissions Service (0208 489 3338) and places are offered according to Haringey’s admissions criteria. We also welcome calls from parents and offer tours of the school when possible.

The School is managed by Haringey Education Authority and Belmont Junior School Governing Body. The Governors meet regularly at the school and all meetings are open to parents.
